Underfloor heating offers a great and affordable way to keep your home warm and is suitable for a wide range of projects. You can enjoy the luxury of warm floors on a cold winter’s morning, zero cold spots and with no traditional radiators to consider you have complete design freedom in your home.
Undoubtedly one of the best and most cost-effective times to incorporate underfloor heating into your project is at the new build stage. New properties in the UK have to meet strict guidelines on insulation and air tightness and will therefore be highly suitable for underfloor heating. What’s more, installing your underfloor heating solution during construction will make the installation process even easier and ensure your system performs as efficiently as possible with your chosen floor coverings.
Read on to find out more about one of our latest installations in Devon.
One of our latest installations in Beer, Devon provided just this opportunity. Owners Sarah and Matt had chosen tiled and wooden floors throughout the property and wanted to gain the benefit of the thermal efficiency of underfloor heating, as well as maximising space and design freedom in their home by removing the need for radiators on walls.
With the property split over three floors and with a number of high ceilings, underfloor heating provided the perfect solution. Working with the TotalUFH.com team, Sarah and Matt chose an underfloor heating system throughout the property. Our engineers were able to recommend the most effective places for each manifold to ensure efficiency and practicality.
The end result? As well as the luxurious warmth under your feet, the underfloor heating system provides a comfortable warmth and ambient heat throughout the property.
As you can see, there is also one very happy and warm dog enjoying the new floor!
